More than a studio.

A family school with a tradition since 2016.

We are a small family studio and every new student makes us incredibly happy.Tonda and the whole team

We teach kids to see the world with heart, through the lens

Camps and a year-round club for kids aged 12 to 18 in a professional studio. Groups have at most 15 kids, each with a lecturer – a working photographer – plus an assistant.

Why parents trust us with their kids

Ten years of experience with young photographers

We love working with this photographic nursery. It's wonderful to be able to shape young photography enthusiasts. Our students keep improving simply because they enjoy it. Why? Because we make it fun.

We are not their teachers but their friends, and hopefully role models they can trust and share the joy of the creative process and its results with. Our main goal is to inspire kids and grow their love of photography.

Safety first

Small groups, a lecturer with an assistant, a clear programme and a phone that parents can always reach.

A professional studio

Studio lights, backdrops, props. Kids shoot with the same gear the pros use.

Learning through play

ISO, shutter speed and aperture are learned "along the way" – through tasks, outings and team challenges.

Results you'll see

Every child leaves with their own portfolio of photos and feedback from the lecturer.

My son came back from the photography camp absolutely thrilled. In one week he went from a phone "snapper" to a passionate photographer. He tried sports, animals and portraits, and the studio photos were really great! The biggest thing for us was the energy he came home with every day. In the evening we had an exciting family vote on the top photo of the day to upload it, and the next day the lecturers gave feedback. Even though the criticism stung a little at first, it turned into an incredible drive for the next day. Thanks to Ateliér v továrně for a wonderfully run camp – my son came away not only with great photos but above all with the desire to keep improving. We'll definitely be back for more!

Our daughter attended the summer day camp at this studio, and her enthusiasm is the reason for this review. We want to thank everyone who prepared the camp and looked after the kids. She looked forward to every day and experienced and learned a lot of new things. We are especially happy that the camp motivated her to keep developing and working on her photography skills. We have already signed her up for a kids' course and look forward to her further progress.

A huge thank you for your photo camp. Bára left worried that she wouldn't know anyone, and after a week she came back happier than ever. She brought home new experiences, new knowledge and contacts for new friends she didn't even want to say goodbye to. You've set the camp bar really high, and huge respect for that.

I really enjoyed the camp and I'm going again this year. They taught me how to use a camera properly. Thanks to that I now shoot actively. During the whole camp we took lots of beautiful photos, which also enriched my Instagram :)

Frequently asked questions

What parents ask us

Does my child need their own camera?

Their own camera is ideal (a DSLR, a mirrorless camera or even a compact with manual mode). If you don't have one, we're happy to lend one – but we only have a few, so get in touch as early as possible.

Is the camp suitable for complete beginners?

Yes. We are big on an individual approach, so both beginners and advanced kids get something out of it. The lecturer and the assistant look after every child.

What about food at the camp?

We don't provide meals. Kids bring food and drinks for the whole day – lunch and snacks. We take a shared lunch break.

Can the camp fee be split?

Yes. You pay 50% as a deposit when signing up and the remaining 50% before the camp starts.

What if my child gets sick?

You'll find the cancellation terms in our terms and conditions.

How do we get to you?

The studio is in a former factory complex in Prague 12 – Modřany, Mezi Vodami 1955/19. Easy to reach by public transport, with parking in front of the complex.
