Photography day camp for kids aged 12–18

5.015 reviews from parents and kids

A week when your child has a whole professional studio to themselves. We shoot in the studio, in nature by the river, at the ZOO and in the streets of Prague. No cramming – technique is learned through play, right in the action.

Mon–Fri 9:00–16:00 max. 15 kids lecturer + assistant beginners and advanced in Czech · lecturer speaks English
What your child takes away

A snapper on Monday morning. A real photographer on Friday afternoon.

At the start of each day we introduce the topic and only the theory that's needed – then it's straight to shooting. Every day ends with a joint review of the photos, because feedback is what moves kids forward the most.

My son came back from the photography camp absolutely thrilled. In one week he went from a phone "snapper" to a passionate photographer. He tried sports, animals and portraits, and the studio photos were really great! The biggest thing for us was the energy he came home with every day. In the evening we had an exciting family vote on the top photo of the day to upload it, and the next day the lecturers gave feedback. Even though the criticism stung a little at first, it turned into an incredible drive for the next day. Thanks to Ateliér v továrně for a wonderfully run camp – my son came away not only with great photos but above all with the desire to keep improving. We'll definitely be back for more!

A huge thank you for your photo camp. Bára left worried that she wouldn't know anyone, and after a week she came back happier than ever. She brought home new experiences, new knowledge and contacts for new friends she didn't even want to say goodbye to. You've set the camp bar really high, and huge respect for that.

Our daughter attended the summer day camp at this studio, and her enthusiasm is the reason for this review. We want to thank everyone who prepared the camp and looked after the kids. She looked forward to every day and experienced and learned a lot of new things. We are especially happy that the camp motivated her to keep developing and working on her photography skills. We have already signed her up for a kids' course and look forward to her further progress.

I really enjoyed the camp and I'm going again this year. They taught me how to use a camera properly. Thanks to that I now shoot actively. During the whole camp we took lots of beautiful photos, which also enriched my Instagram :)

What if my child doesn't have their own camera?

We're happy to lend a camera. We only have a few, though, so please let us know as early as possible – ideally when you sign up.

Can the fee be split?

Yes. You can pay for the camp in two parts: 50% as a deposit when signing up and the remaining 50% before the camp starts.
