Free sample · no sign-in neededA complete newborn shoot from preparation to five favourite set-ups – including light, props, posing and wrapping.
Lucka Maršíková, a newborn specialist, takes you through a complete newborn shoot and shows her 5 favourite set-ups. The practical part comes with theory: the studio, equipment and essential props.
You'll learn how to prepare for the shoot, how long to plan it for, how to handle the baby safely, how to soothe them and how to work with the parents. The course comes with links to suppliers of equipment and accessories.
Before you start shooting
When is the best time to photograph a baby and how to plan the date – shooting at the right time after birth is one of the key things.
Props and equipment
Where to buy props, which materials and how to shop smart. You don't need a studio for newborn work – a bigger room and the right lights are enough.
Practice and wrapping
In the second half of the course you'll see every detail of the shoot, handling the newborn, lighting and the wrapping technique. 5 complete set-ups in total.
