The desire to create and practice – that's the foundation of a good photographer. Once a month we open a fully equipped studio with a beautiful professional model and a crew of like-minded people. No lectures, just shooting.
What awaits you
The practice evening isn't a teaching workshop. The lecturer acts as a host who steers the programme so everything runs like clockwork – but you set the direction. A studio full of top gear and props awaits you, plus one or two professional models (with more than six participants we shoot with two).
You'll shoot alongside other photographers who'll share their tricks with you. Mutual inspiration and sharing experience are the key to improving. And if you get stuck, we'll gladly help you set up your camera or the light.

Technical level really doesn't matter – the practice evening is for anyone who wants to improve. If you don't know how, the lecturer will gladly advise you.

Your host for the evening
A photographer, lecturer and author of photography courses. She has been dedicated to photography since 2004, is editor-in-chief of Digitální foto magazine and runs a photo club. For the evening practice she prepares the scene, lights and models – and then advises, encourages and helps so that everyone takes home photos they'll be proud of.

It's a great opportunity to try different techniques and scenes that would be demanding to prepare and equip on your own, and to meet skilled models right at the shoot instead of searching blindly online. The January theme "Nude in Twilight" and the February "Smoke and Coloured Lights", which I was glad to attend, were amazing again. An incredibly patient lecturer, very empathetic models, well-prepared photo gear and the enthusiastic approach of us photographers made for a pleasant experience.
