Workshops for photographers who want to shoot differently. An active and playful experience in the studio: with Jarda you'll build a creative scene from scratch and understand why a photo works. Every Sunday has a different theme.

What awaits you
Creative Sundays aren't about collecting pretty photos for your portfolio. They're about different, often unconventional points of view – for photographers who already have the technical basics down and are looking for a way to bring depth, a fresh idea and personality into their photos.
The basis of the scene and the background will be prepared, but you'll create a large part of it together with Jarda – so you understand where to place what and why. It won't be step-by-step instructions but principles you can easily carry over into your own work, even without a pile of props and special gear.
"If you're looking for a workshop where someone tells you exactly which button to press, Creative Sundays aren't for you. If you want to understand why a photo works – you're in the right place." – Jarda Řezáč

Lecturer

Jarda Řezáč
Stylised portrait · light and shadow
"Shadows make the photo…" Jarda is a photographer who looks for story, emotion and authenticity in an image. He has been seriously into photography since 2014 – at first mainly reportage from historical events, which he still does today. He gets great joy from stylised portraits, where he plays with light and shadow and likes to experiment creatively. He'd rather spend longer tuning a scene than reach for AI.
Participant reviews
I attended the photography course and I must say it exceeded my expectations. I'm taking away lots of new knowledge and practical skills that I'll definitely use in future shoots. The atmosphere was very friendly and creative the whole time, so you weren't afraid to experiment and try new things. A big plus goes to the lecturer, who was helpful, patient and always ready to advise. The same goes for the model, who was a joy to shoot – professional, natural, and she brought great energy to the shoot. Overall I rate the course as very worthwhile and I'll be glad to attend more courses.
