Sample lesson · no sign-in neededFast and believable retouching of "normal" faces in Photoshop – a complete system born from real-world needs.
You'll learn to edit a portrait quickly and efficiently in Photoshop. The course doesn't just present individual techniques but places them in a working system, forged by the demands of speed and quality.
You work non-destructively, so you can undo any edit at any time. A beginner will understand it and an advanced user will find tricks too. You get brushes for applying skin texture to download.
Skin tone
How to even out purple and red areas of skin in a few minutes and use Dodge & Burn creatively for shaping.
Skin smoothing
Two methods – Joel Grimes's and frequency separation – and how to give skin back its texture so the retouch is believable.
Hair and eyes
Liquify for hair volume, a patch for flyaway strands, lightening wrinkles and clean whites of the eyes.
